Very busy but i am still kicking around...

I've been very busy with my business for the last few weeks , and still got no stable internet connection at my new QTH , but i am still kicking around :-)
Propagations were surely approved for the last few weeks and my new Dipole M/B antenna is doing a great job !
Doing some statistics with the Winlog32 program , one can see that in January 2008 i logged more then 500 QSO's while in 2007 the most active month was ended with about 350 QSO's .
I have done a statistic for my 2007 direct QSL ratio and i found that at this moment i got 76.8 % QSL's returned ratio ! i think it is a good ratio , thanks to all Managers !
Also i have designed my new QSL Card , you can see the front side at the top of this post , thanks to GlobalQsl software and service .

QSL Cards are coming thru bureau and direct eighter , need to find more time to screen and upload here....

I had a HD crash 3 months ago and i lost some of my QSO's , i used a paper logs for about 3 months and 2 days ago i finished to transfer about 800 QSO's to the software, now running with a new HD...

It was a shity work , but i am glad that it is done !

For those QSL Managers that are reading this post , sorry about my delay in QSL'ing , due my HD crash i am starting to send my direct cards for December'07-February'08 just now , i will be happy to get a card back , thanks and 73 !

p.s. I Almost forgot , i've been very busy also with my RDA Chasing as well ! lot of new ones in the log this month ! I am still lazy with finalizing my RDA Application , have couple of hundreads confirmed already , but for the paper application i just can not find the right time , i hope to finish that task this year with at least 500 RDA's in the first application ,so , i started to send direct QSL's to Russia just to speed the RDA Score ;-)

October is over ....

October is over now , it was a nice month with some new ones for me !
I Just logged YK9SV from IOTA AS-186/p on 20 metres SSB and early morning on 40 metres band , CW Mode .
Looking in my previous loggings and searching the new ones , i just found out that Chatam Island was actually a new one here , i have never noticed that before...
CE0Y/9A4X was logged as well , but i am not sure if i got the WKD correctly , will have to wait for the QSL , though it is not a new one to be confirmed , so not much worried about ...hi

I still needs to transfer more then 7 paper logs to my Winlog32 , i wish i had time for that ,some QSO's will probably remain in these paper logs.....

I have more 6 days to SWL until my flight to Africa , i hope that some good ones will be on air in the next few days....

I have sent this week more 48 QSL's direct for my IOTA loggings , some olds and some are from my recent loggings , with a hope that until i'll be back home , all QSL's will be confirmed...well , after all no radio for about 40 days but there is what to wait for.... :-)

Recent DXpeditions Summary

Above is a summary from my log for the recent DXpeditions heard (Excel format) .
I Just wonder how many QSO's are in the DX LOG..... i skipped out those QSO's that i have logged with doubt about the Wkd station..... :-/
Big Pile-Up's with strong tunings were very common to all recent DXpeditions.....
This weekend was very interesting with the Oceania DX Contest , many VK/ZL were logged and also ZK2AH , at last on 20m band .
5L2MS and 3C7Y were the best logging here today .
I Will look for P29VLR and also will try to log 3C7Y on the low bands .
Now , i'm gonn'a sleep a little bit ....a new day is incoming ! :-)

Some Log Statistics.....

I just finished to transfer some of the paper logs from the last months .
I am lazy to continue with all 7 paper logs from earlier years (1986-2003 ), probably will leave the QSO's in the paper logs or will do that by time .

I decided also to leave the WAE Contest loggings in the paper log (250 QSO's ) .

Sometimes i really think that paper log is the best way of loggings....
Any volunteer to transfer more then 22000 QSO's ? hi....

Now , my target is the first RDA application , statistics show 458 Heard RDA and 260 Confirmed RDA , still needs to check many QSL's , until the application will be ready...that's a whole world !

I Wish i was retired....hi

anyway , i found Winlog32 the best software for me , full of statistics functions .
