This call sign will be used in a DXpedition to Moela Island, IOTA SA-071 , between 01-08 February 2008 .

Team members :

Rolf / PY1RO, Joe /PY2EJ , Luiz /PY2OC , Alex /PY2WAS , Fred /PY2XB , Junior /PY2ZA , with administrative support by Andre /PY2MTV and Eder /PY2XAT.

QSL Manager will be AI4U for foreign operators and PY2AA for Brazilian operators .

There is a lighthouse in Moela Island and such an operation was granted after a Brazilian Navy's permission . Activity will be from 2m up to 160m .

IOTA Credit is : 1.5 % .

With this e-mail I would like to inform you that the HZ1MD Farasan cards have been ordered . Cards will be delivered last week December/first week 2008 . As soon there in , processing will start of all direct cards. Please be
informed that per 1st January 2008 I also stopped to be QSL manager for HZ1MD.
The Farasan cards will all be handled . So don't worry !
No bureau cards will be accepted after 1 Jan .2008 .

HQ8R - Swan Islands DXpedition 2008

The HQ8R DXpedition logo have been published at Qrz.com .
HQ8R Swan Islands 2008 DXpedition is the brainchild of Javier /HR2J , he came up with the original idea of activating the islands and has received the support of Radio Club de Honduras and its members in this adventure .
Operators Ray /WQ7R/HR9, Lane/KC4CD/HR2 , Antonio/HR2DX, Daniel/HR2DMR , Ramon/HR7REA , Javier/HR2J , Pedro/HR2PAC and possibly more will activate Swan Island as HQ8R between March 15-23rd 2008 .
